SAP S/4 HANA CO CONSULTANT

Calgary, AB (Onsite)
Contract:
6+ Months
Requirements and Responsibilities:
8+ years experience and hands‑on functional configuration and design experience with SAP Controlling / FICO S/4 HANA implementation.
Participation in at least 2 end‑to‑end SAP Controlling (CO) implementations, in a workstream sub‑lead role, and at least 1 implementation.
Work with business users to gather requirements specific to SAP FICO (Finance and Controlling) processes.
Lead requirements gathering workshops – presenting standard SAP process flows, conduct system demonstrations, and provide insights on how standard SAP processes can support a customer’s business processes.
Lead demonstrations of S4
HANA on‑prem and S4
HANA Cloud functionality.
Configure SAP systems, test new functionality, and provide ongoing support based on requirements collected.
Research and document current business processes and provide process improvement recommendations for the business.
Support cross‑functional business processes in the Manufacturing industry.
Knowledge of Controlling processes and principles within the Controlling sub‑modules, including Cost Element Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Product Costing, Profitability Analysis and Material Ledger.
Knowledge of Accounting processes and principles within the financial sub‑modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Taxes, Asset Management, Bank Accounting, Lockbox.
Valuable business process knowledge of Manufacturing Domain.
Prior experience in implementation/deployment projects on global projects.
Provide leadership in planning/sequencing of customer workshops and conduct workshops.
Maintain a high level of functional competency regarding the standard configuration of the Controlling and Finance areas, by staying abreast of new trends, future enhancements and leveraging best practices.
Develop and/or modify End User Training Documentation.
