Position: Financial Accountant at Propak Systems
Take on a pivotal role with Propak Systems Ltd. as a Financial Accountant in Airdrie. Manage financial reporting, analyze performance, and support operations within our Canadian and US subsidiaries.

In this position, you will be part of the Finance Department, focusing on preparing financial statements for our Canadian fabrication service division and US operations. You'll gain valuable experience in financial reporting, sales tax regulations, and fostering relationships with management. This role is essential for supporting operational and accounting staff with timely and insightful financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements for Canadian entities

• Complete sales tax returns for Canadian provinces and US states

• Report financial performance to management monthly

• Build relationships with management and operations teams

• Perform additional accounting tasks as needed

Requirements:

• Enrollment or completion of CPA Professional Education Program

• 1-2 years of accounting experience in related fields

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel

• Familiarity with ERP systems like Visual or Dynamics 365

• Knowledge of sales tax concepts is preferred
