Systems Financial Accountant

Position: Propak Systems Financial Accountant Role

This role in the Finance Department involves the preparation of financial statements for our Canadian and US operations. You will be responsible for monthly reporting, tax returns, and compliance audits. Collaborate with management and operations, providing essential support to ensure transparency in our financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly financial statements for the Canadian subsidiary

• Complete quarterly and annual sales tax returns across jurisdictions

• Present financial analysis to management monthly

• Foster strong relationships with operational teams

• Execute additional accounting duties as required

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled or completed CPA Professional Education Program

• 1-2 years of general accounting experience

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

• Knowledge of Dynamics 365 or similar ERP systems

• Familiarity with sales and use tax is advantageous
