Take on the role of Chief Executive Officer with Sport Safeguarding BC, focusing on creating a safe and inclusive environment in amateur sports across British Columbia. This full-time remote role requires a strategic and values-driven leader.
As the inaugural CEO, you will spearhead the launch and ongoing development of SSBC, crafting a trauma-informed service model tailored to the needs of local organizations. Your contributions will be vital in establishing protocols, engaging with stakeholders, and promoting a culture of safety in sport.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the operationalization of SSBC’s vision and services
• Design a comprehensive intake and triage system
• Build transparency and collaboration with the Board
• Cultivate partnerships with government and community organizations
• Develop financial management strategies ensuring accountability
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in administration or related fields
• Proven leadership in established programs and systems
• Experience in safeguarding and safe sport
• Strong understanding of public sector dynamics
• Excellent strategic and operational capabilities
