You will report to the Vice President and lead a dedicated team focused on compliance excellence.
Your role includes engaging with customs authorities, problem-solving logistics challenges, and enhancing trade compliance processes. Excellent communication skills and a detail-oriented approach are crucial as you navigate complex regulatory landscapes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee logistics and trade compliance functions globally
• Develop trade compliance standards and reporting measures
• Manage performance of external logistics service providers
• Ensure compliance with tariffs, laws, and customs regulations
• Mitigate risks and improve operational efficiencies
Requirements:
• Over 7 years of progressive experience in trade compliance
• In-depth knowledge of customs regulations and trade agreements
• Strong analytical skills and practical problem-solving ability
• Experience with global trade management systems
• Post-secondary education in Supply Chain or related area
Lead trade compliance initiatives that drive success at Trans Canada Turbines.
