Commercial Account Executive - Southern Alberta

About the role

Broker Link is looking for an experienced Commercial Lines Account Executive to join our growing team. The position is 100% commission-based with no earnings limits, offering a guaranteed draw while building a book and compensation based on new business sales, policy renewals, and a growth bonus. The role requires travel within Southern Alberta.

• Sell commercial insurance policies and develop a list of prospective customers.
• Build and maintain excellent customer relationships, visiting sites and supporting claims processes.
• Stay current on market knowledge, products, pricing, and opportunities.
• Prepare proposals and arrange account placement with carriers.
• Collect and document information to ensure appropriate coverage and service.
• Maintain book quality by adhering to underwriting rules and good business practices.
• Arrange payment terms for new business and collect payments in a timely manner.

• Minimum 5 years of commercial P&C insurance sales experience.
• Valid Alberta Driver’s License.
• AIC Level I or II or General Insurance License.
• Preferably one or more of CIP, FCIP, CAIB, or CCIB.
• Exposure to Epic system is an asset.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities, excellent customer service, sales, interpersonal and communication skills.
