Being part of the mining operations team, the jumbo operator is responsible for carrying out drilling activities.

• Respect safety standards at all times;
• Inspect the work environment at the beginning and end of the shift;
• Inspect the drill before starting the shift and record it on the work card;
• Use and complete his work card throughout the shift;
• Secure the work area using safety tape starting from the electrical connection;
• Clean and identify the bottom of the holes;
• Project the drilling pattern and validate previous work;
• Install alignment devices (laser poles);
• Mark the face according to plans and specifications and draw a reference line;
• Position the drill to drill the holes;
• At the end of the drilling, park the boom drill and record the parking location on the work card;
• Complete the daily report at the end of the shift;
• Any other related tasks.

• Underground hard rock Common Core;
• Hold a valid explosive license;
• Have a minimum of 6 months of drilling experience;
