Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate sheet metal crews on commercial and industrial mechanical projects.Plan, schedule, and assign daily work activities to ensure project deadlines and quality standards are met.Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and specifications to guide installations.Ensure proper installation of ductwork, fittings, hangers, and related sheet metal systems.Monitor job progress, productivity, and material usage; provide daily/weekly reporting as required.Maintain safety compliance and promote a strong safety culture on-site.Train, mentor, and evaluate apprentices and journey persons.Collaborate with project managers, general contractors, and other trades to resolve site issues.Perform quality checks and troubleshoot any deficiencies in the installation.Qualifications
Licensed Sheet Metal Worker (Journeyperson) with several years of experience in the trade.Minimum 2–3 years of foreman or supervisory experience in mechanical construction.Strong knowledge of commercial and industrial HVAC systems, duct fabrication, and installation.Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.Demonstrated ability to manage crews, schedules, and material effectively.Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.Seniority level
