Position: Journeyman Millwright at Amrize
Location: Didsbury

Become a Journeyman Millwright at Amrize's Exshaw, AB Cement Plant. This contract role focuses on equipment maintenance and troubleshooting in a safe and efficient manner.

Amrize is hiring a Journeyman Millwright for a maternity leave coverage contract, with a possibility of extension. You will troubleshoot issues, conduct inspections, and operate essential equipment like motorized manlifts and overhead cranes. Safety and environmental policies are critical in this role to foster a safe working culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and determine corrective actions for machinery

• Inspect and test large industrial equipment regularly

• Operate motorized equipment and overhead cranes

• Maintain accurate records and comments in PPW

• Promote health, safety, and environmental policy adherence

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Valid Millwright Journeyman Red Seal certification

• Experience with large industrial machinery

• Complete set of hand tools for the trade

• Willingness to work shifts and pass background checks
