Position: Trailer Mechanic Wanted at XTL Transport
Become a key member of XTL Transport as a Trailer Mechanic in Airdrie. This Monday to Friday role focuses on the repair and maintenance of our extensive trailer fleet.

We are looking for an experienced trailer technician with a valid Red Seal or CVIP certification.

Your role will involve diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, performing repairs, and ensuring compliance with safety measures in a busy shop environment. Collaborate with drivers to gather feedback and provide exceptional service while contributing to a safe workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair trailer suspension and brakes

• Conduct routine maintenance on coupling and hitching systems

• Keep accurate logs of work performed and issues encountered

• Report any safety concerns to the shop supervisor

• Maintain tools and company-owned equipment

Requirements:

• Red Seal Technician or CVIP certification mandatory

• Valid Class 1 or 3 driver’s license is advantageous

• Previous experience with reefer units preferred

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

• Strong commitment to safety and quality work
