Mas Tec Purnell Canada is seeking Apprentice and Journeyman Instrumentation Technicians to join their inclusive workforce. Candidates in Airdrie, Drumheller, and surrounding areas are preferred. This role demands proficiency in testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining instrumentation equipment to uphold safety and reliability within the oil and gas, pipeline, and industrial construction sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install and calibrate instrumentation equipment effectively
• Troubleshoot and test instruments and systems
• Consult manuals for proper maintenance procedures
• Conduct hydrotesting and QAQC on installed equipment
• Interpret blueprints and schematics for installations
Requirements:
• Journeyman Instrumentation Technician Certification required
• Preference for Fall Protection / AWP Lift certification
• WHIMIS certification necessary
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
