Rocky View Schools is hiring an Apprentice Plumber/Gas Fitter, working under a Journeyperson. You'll be responsible for servicing plumbing and gas systems in over 53 schools, ensuring they are efficient and functional. Ideal candidates will bring a high school diploma and some experience in plumbing systems to this dynamic role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain knowledge of plumbing materials and innovations

• Procure materials cost-effectively for projects

• Collaborate on construction and renovation plans

• Complete plumbing-related maintenance tasks efficiently

• Operate ladders, scaffolds, and man lifts safely

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Experience with plumbing systems, boilers, and fixtures

• Back-flow prevention certification is an asset

• Confined space certification is a plus

• Valid Alberta Class 5 Driver’s License required
