Position: Contract Maintenance Electrician
Be an integral part of Shearer’s Foods as a Contract Maintenance Electrician in Airdrie, Alberta, focused on electrical repairs and installations. This role emphasizes skills-first hiring and operational excellence.

In this role, you will leverage your electrical expertise to maintain and troubleshoot systems at Shearer’s Foods. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of manufacturing experience and be adept with PLC programming and equipment testing. You will play a crucial part in ensuring safety compliance and preventing downtime in production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Repair and install various electrical systems and components

• Inspect equipment and troubleshoot electrical issues

• Dismantle and replace defective electrical parts

• Keep detailed logs of maintenance and repairs

• Ensure conformance to safety regulations and building codes

Requirements:

• 3-5 years in manufacturing maintenance electric work

• Experience with PLC systems and electrical troubleshooting

• Ability to read and create electrical schematics
