Overview
Nexus Resource Solutions are working in partnership with a well‑established engineering and fabrication specialist. We require time served Platers for a 3-4 month contract role.
The RoleAs a time served Plater you’ll be marking out, cutting and burning plate and beams. Assembling and fitting from drawings.
Experience and Qualifications- Used to fabricating structures within Nuclear, Marine, Oil & Gas or structural engineering industries.
- Will be working on medium to heavy structures.
- Cutting, burning and forming steel from drawings.
- £25ph basic
- £32.50ph OT1
- £39ph after 4hrs Sat and all day Sunday
- Mon‑Fri
- 8am‑4.30pm Mon‑Thu
- Early finish on Fridays
- 39hr week
- 8‑14hrs overtime available
