Financial Consultant, FP&A

About the Opportunity

• Monitor business performance trends and provide analysis to support operational and strategic decisions.
• Review performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with various departments to evaluate results and provide financial insights.
• Analyze reports and data to identify variances, trends, and areas requiring attention.
• Prepare management reporting packages and presentations for leadership teams.
• Conduct comparisons against plans, historical results, and expectations to explain performance.
• Support the management and oversight of internal business programs and initiatives.
• Participate in planning cycles, including annual plans and periodic updates.
• Develop and improve reporting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Assist with process documentation, controls, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Prepare ad hoc analysis, reports, and presentations as required.
• Support the development and maintenance of reporting tools and dashboards.
• Provide insights regarding business performance, growth opportunities, and operational effectiveness.
• Assist with periodic business reviews and leadership presentations.
• Track key performance indicators and evaluate the effectiveness of business investments.
• Support various departments in understanding performance drivers and outcomes.
• Contribute to the development of enhanced reporting capabilities and decision‑support tools.
• Assist with financial policy interpretation and special projects as needed.
• Provide support across the finance function when required.

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Experience with financial planning, reporting, and business analysis.
• Advanced spreadsheet and reporting skills.
• Ability to communicate complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience working collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
• Knowledge of reporting and data visualization tools is considered an asset.
• Must currently reside within the Greater Toronto Area and be permitted to work in Canada.

Salary range is disclosed in this posting. The role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company’s 401(k) retirement plan.
