3PL Account Manager

Pro Shipper Fulfillment

Location: Ajax, ON

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year

Job Details

Full-time, permanent position located on site in Ajax, ON. Pays between $55,000 and $65,000 per year.

Responsibilities
  • Primary owner of client relationships after the sale is closed.
  • Full ownership of the account from onboarding, setup, ongoing support, optimization, and growth.
  • Client’s main point of contact and internal advocate, working closely with Warehouse Operations, IT/WMS, Sales, and Leadership to ensure success.
  • Take over all new clients post-sale and lead onboarding, setup, and go‑live.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for assigned client accounts.
  • Build strong, long‑term, trust‑based relationships with clients.
  • Ensure client satisfaction, retention, and long‑term success.
  • Triage incoming client requests and issues.
  • Coordinate internally with warehouse, IT, and sales to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Proactively communicate updates, solutions, and improvements to clients.
  • Maintain a calm, professional, solution‑oriented approach under pressure.
  • Identify upsell and expansion opportunities (higher volumes, new services, value‑added services).
  • Help clients improve shipping performance, costs, and scalability.
  • Partner with Sales when expansion or contract changes are needed.
  • Think like a growth advisor, not just a service provider.
  • Schedule regular check‑ins with all assigned clients.
  • Review performance, satisfaction, and upcoming growth plans.
  • Identify risks early and act before issues escalate.
  • Build a scalable, proactive customer care framework (not reactive firefighting).
  • Serve as the voice of the client internally.
  • Help improve SOPs, onboarding processes, and communication workflows.
  • Document recurring issues and help drive long‑term fixes.
