Sales​/Marketing Internship

We are hiring Sales / Marketing Interns to start immediately and work through August
. This is a field-based, performance-driven role focused on door-to-door marketing for a fast-growing residential painting business.

This internship provides hands-on experience in outside sales, marketing, business development, and customer communication within a real operating business.

This is not a desk job or casual summer position. The work you do directly impacts revenue.

• Door-to-door marketing in assigned neighborhoods
• Speaking professionally with homeowners
• Generating and qualifying leads
• Booking free estimates
• Tracking daily performance metrics
• Representing Durham Region Painting in the community
• Accurately recording lead information and homeowner interest

• Confident, outgoing, and self-motivated individuals
• Comfortable talking to strangers and handling rejection
• Competitive mindset with strong work ethic
• Coachable and reliable

No experience required. Training, scripts, and ongoing support are provided.

• Start immediately – work through August
• Minimum 3 shifts per week (3–4 hours per shift)
• Daytime and early evening availability
• Outdoor, independent work

• Strong communication skills
• Reliable transportation (vehicle preferred)
• Professional attitude and appearance

• $18–30/hour
