Truck Mechanic / Clearwater Structures Inc. Overview
Clearwater Structures Inc. stands at the forefront of heavy civil construction, boasting expertise in bridge construction and rehabilitation. We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Truck Mechanic to bolster our teams in the East and West Ontario regions. This role will play a pivotal part in overseeing the operations and management of our projects, ensuring excellence at every stage of the process.
PositionTruck Mechanic
Responsibilities- Review work orders and discuss tasks with supervisor
- Inspect motor while in operation; road test motor vehicles; test automotive systems and components as well as mechanical units for faults and malfunctions
- Diagnose faults and malfunctions; confirm findings with supervisor for repair or replacement decisions
- Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of truck-trailer and automotive systems
- Estimate parts and labor costs
- Minimum 3 years experience in a similar position is an asset
- Certification or Diploma in vocational training is preferred
Salary: We offer a range from $28.00 to $30.00 / hour based on qualifications
Bonus: Potential bonus of 15% of annual salary at employer's discretion.
Job Type: Full-time permanent
Language: At least intermediate English is required.
