Job Description

Our guests are always at home at Fairmont Hotels & Resorts – and their In Room Dining experience is no exception. Your organization and service skills as a Mini Bar Attendant will ensure our guests enjoy an appetizing in room selection of snack and beverage items.

Key Responsibilities
  • Replenish minibar items in guest rooms according to established par levels and standards.
  • Ensure minibar consumption is accurately recorded and posted to guest accounts in a timely manner.
  • Conduct daily checks of minibar fridges to ensure cleanliness, functionality, and proper temperature.
  • Maintain accurate inventory control and report discrepancies or shortages.
  • Check expiry dates and ensure proper rotation of minibar items (FIFO).
  • Coordinate with Housekeeping and Front Office to align room status and guest preferences.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of minibar storage and work areas.
  • Handle guest inquiries related to minibar charges professionally.
  • Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and security standards.
  • Assist with stock takes and monthly inventory counts.
  • Report maintenance issues related to minibar equipment promptly.
Qualifications & Skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in minibar, F&B, or housekeeping operations is an advantage.
  • Basic understanding of inventory control and stock management.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication skills and guest-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Basic computer or POS knowledge is an advantage.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to push minibar trolleys and lift beverage items.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and move between guest rooms for extended periods.
