Job DescriptionAs an In‑Room Dining (IRD) Team Leader, you will supervise daily in‑room dining operations, ensuring exceptional service standards, efficiency and guest satisfaction. This role leads the order‑taking and service team, coordinates closely with the kitchen and ensures timely and accurate delivery of food and beverage orders to guest rooms.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the in‑room dining team.
- Ensure all guest calls are answered promptly and professionally according to brand standards.
- Monitor order accuracy, preparation times, and delivery standards.
- Conduct daily briefings and support training of team members.
- Ensure proper setup, presentation, and delivery of in‑room dining orders.
- Handle guest feedback, complaints, and special requests efficiently and professionally.
- Coordinate closely with the kitchen and other departments to ensure smooth service flow.
- Ensure accurate posting of charges and billing to guest accounts.
- Monitor inventory levels of in‑room dining equipment and supplies.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards in compliance with hotel policies.
- Assist with scheduling, shift planning, and performance monitoring of team members.
- Lead by example, demonstrating professionalism and strong guest engagement.
- Diploma in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Food & Beverage service, preferably in in‑room dining.
- Previous supervisory or team leader experience is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage service standards.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in POS systems and basic computer skills.
- Strong organizational and problem‑solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
