Responsibilities

  • Accurately track employee attendance and hours worked daily to ensure proper payroll processing.
  • Utilize timekeeping software to log and manage employee time entries, ensuring data integrity and compliance.
  • Coordinate with department managers to resolve discrepancies in time records and assist with scheduling needs.
  • Generate timely reports on employee attendance trends, overtime, and leave balances for management review.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of labor laws and company policies to ensure compliance in timekeeping practices.
  • Assist in training new employees on timekeeping procedures and the use of relevant software tools.
  • Monitor and audit timekeeping data regularly to identify patterns or issues that require corrective action.
  • Communicate effectively with employees regarding timekeeping inquiries, requests for leave, and clocking issues.
  • Collaborate with HR to ensure accurate reporting of employee hours for benefits and payroll processing.
  • Support the implementation of new timekeeping technologies or processes to enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate meaningful reports.
  • Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy in employee time records and payroll calculations.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to liaise with employees and management.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information with discretion.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with labor laws and regulations related to employee time and attendance is a plus.
  • Can speak English and Hindi.
