Job Description

JOB SUMMARY:

The Director plans and executes the vision and mission of the company related to alumni engagement and development programs. The Director is responsible for the development of strategies and plans of company development and Alumni Affairs offices. The Director oversees the implementation of strategies, and ensures adequacy of fund-raising programs as well as strengthen alumni engagement to enhance pride, dedication, and support for the company.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Office of Development:

  • Designs, implements, and oversees comprehensive corporate relations and fundraising programs designed to secure significant financial resources from donors to support the company's mission and strategic priorities.
  • Oversees all fundraising efforts and programs, including annual fund, special fundraising events, major donor programs, grants, capital campaigns, planned giving, donor prospecting and research, and office administration to meet or exceed annual development plan and income goals.
  • Broad financial responsibility that includes setting fundraising objectives, evaluating results, and developing corrective strategies as needed.
  • Identifies, develops, and maintains relationships with current and prospective donors, foundations, organizations, alumni and corporate funders.
Office of Alumni Affairs:
  • Plans, implements and promotes alumni programs that support the company's central mission and vision.
  • Oversees the development and implementation of programs fostering alumni involvement with the company and to encourage meaningful and productive alumni participation.
  • Plans and implements programs and projects that engage alumni in strengthening and providing tangible benefits to alumni, the institution, and current students.
  • Oversees the planning and execution of alumni activities both nationwide and intargeted regions across the country to enhance alumni engagement and cultivate connections.
Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS &

EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in the education industry; of which minimum of 5 years of experience related to managing alumni relations fundraising, preferably in an independent educational institution.
  • Proven track record of executive relationships ties preferably related to raising funds from individuals and foundations, with tangible results.
  • Leadership experience, including skills to inspire a team, support and develop individuals.
  • Capability to work effectively with high net worth business leaders is essential.
  • Exhibits exemplary written/spoken English (Arabic is an advantage).
