HVAC Technician

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair and maintain HVAC systems including split air conditioning units, ducted split units, cassette air conditioning units, VRV/VRF systems, and package units.
• Perform fault finding and repairs on split, ducted split, cassette, VRV/VRF, and package units.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of HVAC equipment.
• Have sound knowledge of chiller system operation and associated components.
• Carry out installation, testing, commissioning and startup of new HVAC systems.
• Inspect HVAC systems and identify mechanical, electrical and control‑related faults.
• Repair and replace defective components such as compressors, motors, contractors, capacitors, thermostats, sensors, expansion valves and control devices.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams and HVAC layouts.
• Ensure all work is completed according to safety standards and company procedures.
• Prepare service reports and maintenance records.
• Respond to emergency breakdown calls and perform timely repairs.
• Coordinate with supervisors and clients regarding maintenance activities and system performance.

• ITI/Diploma/Technical Certification in HVAC, Refrigeration, Mechanical, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in HVAC maintenance and installation.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC electrical and control systems.
• Ability to diagnose faults and perform repairs independently.
• Experience with split, ducted split, cassette, VRV/VRF, package units, and chiller systems.
• Ability to install, test, and commission new HVAC equipment.
• Good communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Valid UAE driving licence is an advantage.
