Electrician Specialist

Responsibilities

Handle full electrical works for residential, commercial, and industrial projects from initial site inspection to final completion and testing.

Install, maintain and repair electrical systems including wiring, distribution boards, lighting systems, power outlets and control panels.

Read, interpret and execute electrical drawings, blueprints, and technical schematics accurately on-site.

Conduct load calculations and determine proper electrical capacity for safe and efficient installations.

Diagnose electrical faults, identify root causes and carry out effective repairs and troubleshooting.

Supervise and guide junior electricians and site workers to ensure proper execution of tasks and safety compliance.

Ensure all electrical work is completed according to local electrical codes, safety standards, and project specifications.

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance for residential buildings, villas, offices, retail shops, and industrial facilities.

Respond to emergency electrical breakdowns and provide fast, efficient on‑site solutions.

Coordinate with contractors, engineers, project managers and clients to ensure smooth project execution.

Prepare material requirements, estimate quantities and support procurement of electrical components and equipment.

Prepare accurate quotations and cost estimates for electrical projects based on site requirements and market pricing.

Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion within agreed deadlines.

Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards, safety compliance and operational efficiency.

Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used and site reports.

Advise clients on electrical system upgrades, energy efficiency solutions and cost‑effective alternatives.

Ensure proper installation of safety systems including circuit breakers, earthing systems and protective devices.

Maintain tools, equipment and work vehicles in proper condition and ensure safe usage at all times.

Stay updated with latest electrical technologies, systems and market pricing trends.

• Minimum 5-10 years of professional experience in the electrical field.
• Must have worked in a reputable electrical contracting company.
• Previous experience in a senior role such as Senior Electrician, Electrical Foreman, Site Supervisor or Project Electrician.
• Strong exposure to residential villas and apartment buildings, commercial shops, offices and retail units, industrial sites, warehouses and service facilities, maintenance contracts and emergency repairs.

• Comprehensive knowledge of electrical installation, maintenance and repair systems.
• Ability to read and execute electrical drawings, layouts and schematics.
• Strong understanding of wiring systems, electrical distribution networks, load calculations and circuit design.
• Electrical panels, breakers and control systems.
• Lighting systems (standard, decorative, emergency, and outdoor).
• Fault detection, diagnostics and troubleshooting techniques.
• Solid knowledge of electrical safety standards and regulatory compliance.

• Strong understanding of electrical pricing structures in the UAE market.
• Ability to prepare accurate quotations and job costing estimates.
• Knowledge of material costs, supplier pricing and procurement processes.
• Experience in negotiating project costs and handling client budgets.
• Awareness of market standards for residential, commercial and industrial electrical works.

• Experience dealing directly with homeowners and villa owners, real estate developers, facility management companies, commercial business owners and tenants.
• Strong ability to understand client requirements and provide practical solutions.
• Capable of building long‑term professional relationships with clients and contractors.
• Experience working across multiple sites and handling diverse project demands.
