We are looking for a skilled and experienced Auto Electrician to join our automotive workshop. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical and electronic systems in passenger vehicles and light commercial vehicles while ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair electrical and electronic faults in passenger and light commercial vehicles.
- Install, inspect, repair, and replace wiring, electrical components, sensors, control modules, alternators, starters, batteries, and lighting systems.
- Perform computer-based diagnostics using OEM and aftermarket diagnostic tools.
- Troubleshoot CAN Bus, ECU, ABS, SRS (Airbag), immobiliser, and other vehicle electronic systems.
- Carry out preventive maintenance and electrical inspections.
- Install and troubleshoot GPS tracking devices, telematics, cameras, and other vehicle accessories when required.
- Ensure repairs are completed accurately and within the allocated time.
- Follow manufacturer specifications and company quality standards.
- Maintain accurate service records and job documentation.
- Keep tools and work areas clean and comply with all health and safety regulations.
- Support workshop operations and collaborate effectively with technicians and service advisors.
- Minimum 3 years of UAE experience as an Auto Electrician (mandatory).
- Valid UAE Driving License (mandatory).
- Active UAE Residence Visa.
- Strong knowledge of automotive electrical and electronic systems.
- Experience with diagnostic scanners and automotive diagnostic software.
- Ability to diagnose and repair electrical faults independently.
- Experience working on Japanese, Korean, American, and European vehicles is preferred.
- Knowledge of fleet maintenance operations is an advantage.
- Basic computer skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
- English communication skills required;
Arabic is an advantage.
Preferred Skills
- Experience installing GPS tracking, telematics, dash cameras, and IoT devices.
- Familiarity with hybrid and electric vehicle electrical systems.
- Knowledge of Workshop Management Systems (WMS) and digital job cards.
