Carpenter - Filipino; English speaking UAE

As a carpenter you will be responsible for constructing repairing and installing structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials You will work with a variety of hand and power tools to measure cut shape and join materials according to blueprints or specific instructions This is a contract position in Ajman suitable for men without prior experience

• Read and interpret blueprints or specifications to determine the requirements of a project
• Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using rulers pencils or marking gauges
• Cut or shape materials to specified measurements using hand or power tools such as saws chisels or sanders
• Join materials together using nails screws staples or adhesives
• Install structures such as windows doors cabinets or staircases according to specifications
• Repair existing structures by replacing damaged wood or other materials
• Follow safety procedures at all times to ensure a safe working environment

• Prior experience as a carpenter is not required but preferred
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English
• Strong knowledge of different types of wood and their uses
• Proficient in using hand and power tools safely and accurately
• Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions precisely
• Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor for extended periods of time

The salary for this position is 1700$ per month
