Electricity Metering Technician​/Electrician

We are looking for an experienced Electricity Metering Technician / Electrician to support electricity metering and field operations for a leading utilities organization in the UAE.

• Install, inspect, test, maintain and replace electricity meters.
• Troubleshoot faulty meters and associated electrical equipment.
• Perform electricity connection, disconnection and reconnection activities.
• Conduct meter readings using handheld or automated meter-reading systems.
• Verify meter accuracy and identify abnormal readings or consumption discrepancies.
• Support investigation of metering and billing-related technical issues.
• Maintain accurate meter-reading and field activity records.
• Interact with customers during installation, inspection and service activities.
• Follow electrical safety, HSEQ and operational procedures.
• Complete assigned field activities within required timelines.

• Technical Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology or related discipline
  .
• Experience in electricity metering, power distribution, electrical maintenance or utility operations
  .
• Hands-on knowledge of meter installation, testing and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of electrical distribution systems and safe working practices.
• Exposure to meter-reading systems/handheld devices is preferred.
• Good troubleshooting, communication and customer-handling skills.
• Utility/electricity distribution experience will be highly preferred
