- Carry out electrical installation maintenance troubleshooting and repair of industrial machinery and plant equipment
- Maintain and troubleshoot metal recycling furnaces melting furnaces generators APC systems PLC-controlled equipment motors control panels and electrical panels
- Diagnose and rectify electrical faults in machinery production lines motors sensors contractors relays breakers and control circuits
- Troubleshoot and maintain PLC systems input output modules sensors limit switches proximity sensors and control circuits
- Perform electrical maintenance of furnace control systems burners fans pumps conveyors hydraulic systems and associated equipment
- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical equipment to minimize machine breakdowns and production downtime
- Inspect electrical panels cables connections MCCs distribution boards and control panels for faults or potential failures
- Troubleshoot three-phase motors starters VFDs inverters contractors overload relays and motor control circuits
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machinery and electrical equipment
- Troubleshoot electrical issues related to APC Air Pollution Control systems including fans motors control panels and associated equipment
- Read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams schematics control circuit diagrams and equipment manuals
- Carry out cable termination gland installation panel wiring and electrical modifications as required
- Ensure all electrical maintenance activities are carried out safely and in accordance with company procedures
- Maintain proper records of breakdowns preventive maintenance repairs and replacement of electrical components
- Coordinate with mechanical and production teams during machine breakdowns and maintenance activities
- Keep adequate stock of commonly required electrical spare parts and inform the supervisor about required replacements
- Respond promptly to electrical breakdowns and emergencies to minimize production interruptions
- ITI / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
- Minimum 4-5 years of hands‑on experience as an Industrial Electrician, preferably in a manufacturing, metal recycling, foundry, furnace, steel, Aluminium, or heavy industrial environment.
- Practical experience with industrial furnaces and heavy machinery is highly preferred.
- Good knowledge of PLC systems, VFDs, motor controls, generators, MCCs, control panels, sensors, and industrial electrical systems.
- Experience in troubleshooting electrical control circuits and industrial machinery.
- Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
- Good knowledge of electrical safety procedures and industrial maintenance practices.
- Ability to work in a hot, dusty, and heavy industrial environment.
- Willingness to work shifts, overtime, and during emergency breakdowns when required.
