Job OverviewWhizz HR is looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join a construction team in Ajman. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in electrical installation, site execution, testing, commissioning, and maintenance for building construction projects.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and supervise electrical works at construction sites.
- Handle installation of LV electrical systems, lighting, power distribution, DBs, cables, and electrical equipment
. - Review and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications
. - Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and other MEP teams.
- Monitor electrical installation works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, and safety standards
. - Conduct testing, inspection, troubleshooting, and commissioning of electrical systems.
- Coordinate with the site team to ensure electrical works are completed within project timelines.
- Prepare and maintain site reports, inspection requests, and documentation
. - Identify and resolve technical issues related to electrical installations.
- Ensure compliance with electrical regulations, authority requirements, and HSE standards
.
- Education: Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience: 2–6 years of experience in electrical construction / MEP contracting
. - Strong hands-on experience in electrical installation and site execution
. - Good knowledge of 3-phase and single-phase electrical systems
. - Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and layouts
. - GCC construction experience will be an advantage.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced construction environment.
