Mason - Construction and Repair Specialist
We are currently hiring a skilled Mason to join our team in Ajman. As a Mason, you will be responsible for constructing and repairing various structures, including walls, floors, and other surfaces. Your main duties will include mixing and applying cement, installing bricks or stones, and using specialized tools to shape and level surfaces.
To be successful in this role, you should have at least 2 years of experience working as a Mason and possess strong knowledge of construction materials and techniques. You must also have excellent hand-eye coordination and physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks. Basic English language skills are required for effective communication on the job.
Key Responsibilities- Read blueprints or drawings to determine project specifications
- Prepare work area by laying out tools and materials
- Mix cement or other materials according to instructions
- Apply cement or other materials to surfaces using trowels or other tools
- Install bricks, stones, or other materials in a precise manner
- Use levels and plumb bobs to ensure evenness of surfaces
- Repair damaged structures by replacing or fixing broken components
- Proven experience as a Mason in the construction industry
- Knowledge of construction materials, techniques, and safety standards
- Ability to read blueprints or drawings
- Physical stamina for manual labor tasks
- Good hand-eye coordination
- Basic English language skills
