Instrument Technician for Oil and Gas Industry in Ajman, UAE

We are hiring an experienced Instrument Technician to join our growing team in the oil and gas industry in Ajman, UAE. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in instrumentation and control systems with at least 3 years of experience in a similar role. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various instruments used in the production and processing of oil and gas.

You will also be responsible for troubleshooting technical issues and ensuring the proper functioning of equipment.

• Install, maintain, and repair instruments such as meters, gauges, controllers, transmitters, and control valves
• Troubleshoot technical issues with instruments and control systems
• Calibrate instruments according to specifications
• Read and interpret technical drawings and manuals
• Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to ensure efficient operation of equipment
• Monitor instrument performance to identify potential problems
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities

• Diploma or technical degree in instrumentation or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience as an Instrument Technician preferably in the oil and gas industry
• Strong knowledge of instrumentation principles and control systems
• Experience with various tools and equipment used for installation and repair of instruments
• Ability to read technical drawings and manuals
• Good communication skills to collaborate with team members
• Problem-solving skills to troubleshoot technical issues effectively
