Senior Internal Auditor

Our firm is partnering with a respected healthcare organization seeking a Senior Internal Auditor to join its team. This individual will play a key role in evaluating risk, strengthening internal controls, supporting compliance initiatives, and driving process improvements across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute operational, financial, and compliance audits.
• Assess internal controls, identify risks, and recommend process improvements.
• Analyze audit findings and prepare reports for leadership.
• Conduct risk assessments and monitoring activities.
• Assist with compliance programs, policies, training, and corrective action plans.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to promote compliance and operational excellence.
• Support investigations, special projects, and other audit-related initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years of experience in internal audit, compliance, risk management, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of audit methodologies, internal controls, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and report-writing skills.
• Healthcare industry experience preferred.

Preferred Certifications

• CIA, CPA, CHC, and/or CFE
