Staff Accountant, Financial Reporting
City Akron Ohio Country United States of America The Entry-Level Accountant will be responsible for assisting with the preparation and analysis of financial statements maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with accounting principles The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of basic accounting principles and be willing to learn and grow within the role This is a full-time position open to all genders nationalities and English proficiency levels No prior experience is required as training will be provided
Key Responsibilities- Assist with the preparation of financial statements including balance sheets income statements and cash flow statements
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records
- Reconcile bank statements and other accounts on a regular basis
- Prepare journal entries and assist with month-end close processes
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure accurate reporting
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field candidates currently pursuing degree will also be considered
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills
Salary $1700 per month
