Up to 20 hours/week
OverviewFind your future at Fastenal! Our distribution center is hiring energetic, team‑oriented individuals to work in our fast‑pace warehouse! Working as Part‑time Maintenance Administrator, you will support the maintenance department by performing a variety of tasks related to equipment upkeep, inventory management, vendor coordination, and administrative documentation. This position will be based out of our distribution center located in Akron, OH.

- Ordering and receiving parts and products from vendors, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries
- Scheduling and coordinating on‑site support and visits with contractors and vendors
- Managing inventory and procurement of parts used by department
- Creating performance reports for the department
- Coordinating, scheduling, and documenting annual equipment calibrations
- Developing Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures for new assets and auditing existing procedures to ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Performing data entry of expenses into work orders
- Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of work area
- Complying with health, safety and sustainability rules and expectations
- Participating in activities and programs that help the company achieve health, safety and sustainability objectives
- Learning, passing, and practicing various environmental health and safety trainings
- Proficient written and oral communication skills
- Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite
- Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities
- Exhibit strong problem‑solving, deductive reasoning and decision‑making skills
- Highly motivated, self‑directed and customer service oriented
- Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment
- Work independently as well as in a team environment
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule/extra time as needed

- Lift, slide, carry and lower packages that typically weigh 25lbs‑50lbs and may weigh up to 100lbs
- Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)
- Prior administrative/customer service experience OR industry experience and product knowledge
