Part‑Time Bookkeeper / Office Administrator About Summit Millwork

Summit Millwork is a locally owned distributor of interior doors, trim, millwork, and hardware serving builders, remodelers, contractors, and homeowners throughout Northeast Ohio and based in Cuyahoga Falls. We take pride in providing exceptional customer service, quality products, and dependable support to our customers.

We are seeking a detail‑oriented and organized Part‑Time Bookkeeper / Office Administrator to join our team and help support our daily operations.

Position Summary

This position will be responsible for bookkeeping, administrative support, and general office duties. The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently, has experience with Quick Books, and enjoys interacting with customers and vendors in a professional environment.

Responsibilities
  • Manage accounts payable and vendor payments
  • Assist with accounts receivable and customer account follow‑up
  • Enter and reconcile financial transactions in Quick Books
  • Process invoices and maintain accurate records
  • Answer incoming phone calls and assist customers as needed
  • Support office filing, organization, and administrative tasks
  • Assist ownership with reporting and special projects
  • Coordinate routine office communications and correspondence
Qualifications
  • Previous bookkeeping experience required
  • Quick Books experience strongly preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Strong organizational and time‑management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Professional communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework or certification in accounting, finance, or business administration is preferred.
Schedule
  • Part‑time position with potential for expanded responsibilities and future full‑time opportunities for the right candidate
  • Approximately 20–30 hours per week
  • Flexible weekday schedule
Compensation
  • $22–$30 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
