Beacon Collision Center of Akron is growing and looks to add a full-time A and(or) B Level Tech to their Autobody technician team. We are a family owned body shop and culture is very important to us.
Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role located in Akron, OH for an Automotive Technician. The Automotive Technician will be responsible for performing all repairs to restore vehicle to pre-accident condition. Beacon Collision prides itself on putting safe, reliable vehicles back on the road.
Qualifications- 5 plus years of body experience
- Ability to work in a high-volume shop
- Quality workmanship a must
- I-CAR Platinum Certifications are a bonus
- Must have great work record and references
- Participate as needed in developing a repair plan for each vehicle
- Repair vehicles according to manufacturer specifications and company standards
- Ability to meet and exceed production deadlines.
- 20,000 sq. ft. facility high volume shop with excellent environment, lighting and new equipment
- Plastic welder, Aluminum, bronze and mig welder, Resistance welder
- Three spray booths
- Frame racks, Electronic Measuring System
