SOURCING SPECIALIST

Overview

• Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and assess market trends (copper trends, etc.)
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies aligned with production needs.
• Evaluate and qualify suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery, and reliability.
• Lead the request for quotation (RFQ) and supplier selection process.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contract agreements with suppliers to secure competitive terms.
• Build/maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure continuity of supply and performance.
• Monitor and report on supplier performance, risks, and opportunities for improvement.

• Strong negotiation and contract management abilities.
• Proficiency with procurement tools and ERP systems.
• Excellent analytical skills with ability to assess supplier bids, cost data, and market trends.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel).

• Effective communication and relationship-building skills to work with suppliers and cross-functional teams.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
• Strategic thinking with a focus on cost reduction and continuous improvement.

Requirements: BA degree preferred with 5 years of experience in a sourcing role.
