Data Analyst – Inventory Sourcing (Entry‑Level)
We’re looking for an energetic and detail‑oriented Data Analyst to join our Sourcing team. In this entry‑level role, you’ll dive into diverse datasets and focus on key areas such as product attribute analytics, vendor performance dashboards, and chargeback reporting. You’ll create impactful dashboards, uncover actionable insights, and deliver reporting that directly influences sourcing strategies and vendor partnerships. This role exists to drive improvements in Inventory Productivity by ensuring accurate governance of SKU/Merchandise lifecycle status, web status, flex fulfillment, season code, ownership, tariff, and other inventory cost‑related attributes.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Maintain and update SKU lifecycle status, season code, ownership, tariff, and other inventory cost‑related attributes in relevant systems.
- Analyze and report on inventory productivity metrics, identifying opportunities for improvement, tracking and following up to ensure success is measured and maintained (35%).
- Support governance processes for SKU data, ensuring compliance with internal standards and accuracy across systems (25%).
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Merchandising, Finance, IT) to resolve data discrepancies and support inventory projects (20%).
- Assist with database management tasks, including data entry, validation, and basic analysis; SQL knowledge preferred but not required (10%).
- Bachelor’s degree required; preferred in Business or Merchandising. Entry‑level; no prior experience required, but internship or coursework in inventory, merchandising, or business analytics is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Co‑Pilot).
- Understanding of database management concepts; SQL knowledge, a plus.
- Effective verbal, non‑verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to learn and adapt to new systems and processes quickly.
