We’re hiring an experienced Center Director to lead our Akron school. This is a great opportunity for a strong childcare leader who can build team culture, strengthen daily operations, and support a high-quality learning environment for children, families, and staff.

This role is best for someone who enjoys coaching teachers, creating accountability, improving systems, and leading through change with confidence and consistency.

• Lead daily school operations
• Recruit, coach, develop, and retain staff
• Build a positive, accountable team culture
• Ensure compliance with Ohio licensing requirements and company standards
• Support quality improvement and classroom excellence
• Manage staffing, scheduling, and labor performance
• Drive enrollment growth and family retention
• Monitor financial performance and business metrics
• Partner with district leadership to achieve school goals

• 2 years previous management experience in a licensed childcare, preschool, or early childhood education program
• Experience managing staff performance, scheduling, staffing, and daily center operations
• Strong knowledge of Ohio childcare licensing requirements
• Strong business and financial acumen, including enrollment, labor, budgets, or school performance metrics
• Ability to lead teams, build family relationships, and navigate change effectively

• Minimum Ohio CPL Level 3 required
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• High School diploma or equivalent required
• CDA, Associate’s, or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
