Our client, a large investor-owned electric utility serving customers across the Midwest and Mid-Atlantic, is seeking an experienced Senior PJM Market Policy & Support Specialist to join its market policy and regulatory affairs team. This position plays an integral role in supporting the company's engagement within the PJM stakeholder process by analyzing market policy issues, developing strategic positions, and coordinating advocacy efforts with internal and external stakeholders.
This is a full-time, on-site position that may be based at multiple company locations within the PJM footprint.

- Participate in PJM committees, subcommittees, and task forces, including coordination of voting strategies.
- Track, analyze, and communicate PJM proposals and stakeholder activities.
- Coordinate policy positions among legal, regulatory, rates, engineering, and operational subject matter experts.
- Develop analytical models and supporting materials used to evaluate market policy initiatives.
- Prepare briefing materials, talking points, presentations, and issue summaries for internal leadership.
- Assist in drafting comments, regulatory filings, and advocacy materials related to PJM, FERC, and state regulatory matters.
- Serve as an internal resource regarding PJM market rules, governance processes, and stakeholder activities.
- Support external advocacy efforts and communicate complex market issues to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Manage multiple complex assignments while supporting strategic business objectives.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience (10 years without a bachelor’s degree) in the energy industry.
- Experience working in wholesale electricity markets, utilities, RTOs/ISOs, FERC, state commissions, or related regulatory environments.
- Preferred experience participating in the PJM stakeholder process
. - Strong analytical capabilities, including experience supporting regulatory positions, policy development, or economic analysis.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively across diverse functional teams and build strong professional relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to quickly learn complex technical and regulatory subject matter while delivering high-quality work under tight deadlines.
