Surveyor Assistant

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Surveyor Assistant to join our team in Akron As a Surveyor Assistant you will work closely with our surveying team to assist in the collection and analysis of data for various construction and land development projects This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience or interest in the surveying profession to gain hands-on experience and advance their career

• Assist in collecting topographical boundary and construction data using various surveying equipment
• Prepare and maintain accurate field notes sketches and other documentation
• Perform calculations and analysis of collected data
• Ensure proper care and maintenance of surveying equipment
• Assist in the preparation of reports and drawings for clients
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients
• Follow all safety protocols on job sites

• Degree or diploma in Surveying or related field preferred but not required
• Previous experience as a Surveyor Assistant is an asset but not required training will be provided
• Ability to use surveying equipment such as total stations GPS receivers and levels
• Strong mathematical skills for data analysis and calculations
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
• Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions for extended periods of time
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Must be able to follow instructions accurately
• Valid drivers license is preferred but not required

Salary $1300month negotiable based on experience
