Formwork Specialist

As a Formwork Specialist you will be responsible for constructing temporary molds and structures used in concrete construction You will work closely with the project manager and other team members to ensure proper placement and installation of formwork systems This role requires a high level of physical ability attention to detail and the ability to interpret blueprints and construction plans

• Construct formwork structures according to project specifications
• Read and interpret blueprints and construction plans
• Measure and mark cutting lines on materials
• Cut shape and fit materials for formwork
• Place and secure formwork in correct position
• Pour concrete into formwork molds
• Remove formwork after concrete has set
• Inspect completed formwork for accuracy and quality
• Repair or replace damaged or defective parts as needed

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of 2 years experience in formwork construction
• Ability to read blueprints and construction plans accurately
• Strong understanding of math measurement and geometry principles
• Physically fit with ability to lift heavy materials up to 50 lbs
• Attention to detail and accuracy in work
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions

• Experience working as a carpenter or in related field
• Knowledge of different types of formwork systems
• Ability to operate power tools safely
• Basic understanding of concrete pouring techniques

Salary $1500 per month
