Typesetter for Contract Position in Akron, OH

We are seeking a talented Typesetter to join our team in Akron OH on a contract basis

As a Typesetter you will be responsible for formatting and arranging text and images for various print and digital publications

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong attention to detail and creativity

• Format and arrange text and images according to design specifications
• Collaborate with editors designers and other team members to ensure the final product meets quality standards
• Use various software programs such as Adobe InDesign Illustrator and Photoshop to create layouts
• Check for accuracy of spelling grammar and overall layout before finalizing documents
• Meet strict deadlines while maintaining high-quality work

• Bachelors degree in Graphic Design or relevant field preferred
• Proven experience as a Typesetter or similar role
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite InDesign Illustrator Photoshop
• Strong understanding of typography principles
• Excellent attention to detail and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

This is a contract position that offers competitive hourly pay
