Architectural Designer

We are hiring a skilled and creative Junior Architectural Designer to join our growing team in Akron.

As an Architectural Designer you will be responsible for creating innovative and functional designs for various buildings and structures. Your role will involve collaborating with other architects, engineers and clients to ensure that projects meet their requirements and are completed within budget and time constraints. This is a full‑time position with a salary of $1600 per month without accommodation.

• Utilize AutoCAD, Sketch Up and other design software to create detailed architectural plans.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers and clients to understand project requirements and goals.
• Create innovative and functional designs for various buildings and structures.
• Prepare construction documents including detailed drawings and specifications.
• Conduct site visits to ensure that construction aligns with design plans.
• Research building codes, regulations, materials and techniques to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Communicate project progress with team members and clients.

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field.
• Proven experience as an architectural designer or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Sketch Up, Photoshop or other design software.
• Knowledge of building codes, regulations, materials and construction techniques.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.

• Experience working on commercial or residential projects in Akron or similar location.
• Familiarity with sustainable design principles.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
