Industrial Architect

We are a leading architectural firm in Akron known for our innovative and sustainable designs. We are seeking an experienced Industrial Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial building design and construction with a keen eye for detail and an understanding of the latest industry trends.

• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and develop design solutions that meet their objectives.
• Create detailed drawings and 3D models using CAD software.
• Conduct site visits to assess existing structures and gather information for new projects.
• Develop project timelines and budgets, ensuring that projects are completed within deadlines and budget constraints.
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure that designs are feasible and meet all necessary codes and regulations.
• Review construction plans to identify any potential issues or conflicts.
• Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and project team members throughout the design process.

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial building design.
• Proficiency in CAD software as well as knowledge of building codes and regulations.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, materials and techniques.
• Excellent communication, time management and project management skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• Immediate availability as this is an urgent position.

• Experience working on projects in the manufacturing or industrial sector.
