This position is in our Food Enterprise where we are committed to serving food manufacturers, food service customers, and retailers with a complete range of innovative ingredients and branded products. Our portfolio includes poultry, beef, egg, alternative protein, salt, oils, starches, sweeteners, cocoa and chocolate.

The Engineer Associate will help optimize the interconnected components of a manufacturing system. We seek a professional who will develop and apply engineering standards and procedures, providing advice on issues within the engineering field. We seek a professional who will collaborate with senior professionals to contribute to planning, designing and estimating time and cost, overseeing construction and maintenance of our structures, facilities, systems and components.

• Follow prescribed guidelines or policies to analyze and resolve problems.
• Continue to build knowledge of the organization, processes and customers.
• Contribute to designing and improving manufacturing processes, instruments and equipment, testing manufactured products to maintain quality.
• Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
• Other duties as assigned

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Other minimum qualifications may apply

• Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of SAP and data analysis tools such as Power BI, Excel
• Process mindset and hands-on process engineering (design, evaluate, and support improvement end-to-end processes, quality, and efficiency.
