Junior Architectural Designer

We are seeking a talented Junior Architectural Designer to join our expanding team in Akron. As a Junior Architectural Designer you will work closely with our senior designers to assist in the creation and development of architectural plans and designs for various projects.

Your responsibilities will include conducting site visits, preparing drawings and presentations, and collaborating with clients to understand their vision and needs.

• Bachelors degree in Architecture or related field
• 2+ years of experience in architectural design
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Sketch Up and Adobe Creative Suite
• Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines

• Conduct site visits to gather information and assess project feasibility
• Assist senior designers in creating conceptual designs and developing detailed plans using CAD software
• Prepare presentations for clients to showcase design proposals
• Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements and make necessary adjustments to designs accordingly
• Keep up-to-date with current trends and technologies in the field of architecture
