Position Overview
We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Architect to join our growing team in Akron As a Senior Architect you will be responsible for leading the design and construction process from concept to completion for various projects including residential commercial and industrial buildings The ideal candidate will have a strong background in architecture and construction with excellent design skills and project management experience
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the entire design process from concept development to final construction plans
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and goals for each project
- Develop creative design solutions that meet functional aesthetic and budgetary requirements
- Prepare detailed drawings specifications and cost estimates using computer-aided design CAD software
- Manage project timelines budgets and resources effectively to ensure timely completion of projects
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design plans
- Mentor junior architects and provide guidance on technical issues
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in technology to continuously improve design processes
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience as an architect in the construction industry
- Strong proficiency with CAD software AutoCAD Sketch Up etc
- Excellent design skills with a keen eye for detail
- Proven project management experience with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal to effectively collaborate with clients contractors and team members
- Knowledge of building codes regulations and standards in Akron is preferred
The salary for this position is $1500 per month
