Architectural Technologist - Contract Position

We are currently hiring for a skilled Architectural Technologist to join our team in Akron on a contract basis As an Architectural Technologist you will be responsible for assisting with the design and development of various architectural projects This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in the field and a passion for architecture

• Collaborate with architects and other team members to develop design concepts
• Conduct site visits and surveys to gather necessary information for project development
• Use CAD software to create detailed drawings and 3D models
• Assist with preparing project proposals budgets and timelines
• Communicate with contractors engineers and other professionals involved in the project
• Ensure compliance with building codes regulations and safety standards
• Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments as needed

• Bachelors degree in Architecture or related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an architectural firm or similar setting
• Proficient in CAD software such as AutoCAD or Revit
• Knowledge of building materials construction techniques and building codes
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members

• Experience working on commercial or residential projects
• Familiarity with sustainable design practices
• Knowledge of BIM software such as ArchiCAD or Vectorworks
