Genesis Health Care System has an employment opportunity for a BC/BE Cardio-thoracic surgeon. We are interested in candidates with vision in regard to delivering outstanding patient care, and expanding the program within the Heart, Lung and Vascular group.
Position Highlights:- Required procedures include coronary bypass, heart valve surgery, TAVR (optional), Watchman, Mitra Clips, thoracic, minimally invasive thoracic procedures and EP surgeries.
- 150-170 heart cases per year.
- Physician office located in the hospital
- 2 physician practice
- Heart, Lung and Vascular Team: 11 general cardiologst, 3 EP docs, 4 interventionalist, 3 vascular surgeons
- 24/7 inhouse critical care support (all pulm/cc docs)
- 24 bed ICU with designated cardiac beds
- 1:3 call
- Established patient base
- 3 year guaranteed base salary + quality and production bonus
